Stainless steel cookware

Everything you need to know about 5-ply

Our most important advice for 5-ply

Use a burner that matches the diameter of the base.

Uneven heat distribution is not only harmful to the structure of the cookware but also results in poorer cooking performance.

Heat gradually from low heat.

No cookware benefits from rapid heating, as this can cause warping. Gradual heating ensures more even heat distribution

Preheat before adding oil or fat.

This makes it easier to remove the food. We describe how you can check the temperature with the water test in the first guide.

Do not leave empty for too long.

Although you should preheat without fat, never leave your cookware on the heat for extended periods while empty.

Be patient while frying.

When frying, allow the food to develop a proper crust before turning or stirring. This helps it release more easily from the pan.

Avoid large temperature shocks.

Avoid pouring cold water onto a hot pan or pot or using boost functions, as this can shock the metal and cause it to warp.
